Legal weed is doing, well... rather well in the US. How well? I meeeeean how does $5.4 BILLION in 2015 sound for "well"? That's almost an entire billion dollar increase from 2014's $4.6 billion.
By the time Kanye runs for president in 2020? A recent study done by ArcView projects the cannabis industry will be looking at figures near $20 billion. That's a lot of fucking money. But hey, you didn't need me to tell you that. We're a country in debt though right? Like, a lot of debt? I guess that's a conversation for a different day.
What's the issue now? Facebook. That's right. APPARENTLY Facebook feels that dispensary pages on the social media are in violation of "Community Standards, which outline what is and is not allowed on Facebook." Last month Facebook and Instagram both banned all gun sales on the site.
A spokesperson officially stated that FB
"prohibits any attempts by unauthorized dealers to purchase, sell, or trade prescription drugs, marijuana or firearms."
What's the deal for states that Weed is legal in, or even medicinally legal? It all comes down to technicalities and TECHNICALLY speaking, it's still in much of a gray area on the federal level. WHAT KINDA SHIT IS THAT FB?!
Speaking of things that don't really make sense, America, did you know that the US has almost double the amount of prisoners of China?
