"You're Miley, you're Elvis, you're Iggy Azalea."
Late last month, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis released the controversial track "White Privilege II."
It's sparked a beef between both Machine Gun Kelly and Iggy Azalea since it's been released and had a mixture of responses. And well, if you simply read through the youtube comments, some true colors of society are well, displayed. Ironically enough.

Hot 97 discussed whether or not Macklemore was simply exploiting a hot topic by seeking approval amongst minorities.
Then, later, both Macklemore and Ryan Lewis appeared on Sway In The Morning to talk about the track.

That’s actually the first time I stopped and read the lyrics to this song. Being an MGK fan, I was inclined to be on his side, but now I agree with most things Macklemore said on the track. I don’t agree when he calls out Miley and Iggy though, in my opinion cultural appropriation is not a bad thing, as I see it mostly as a show of respect. But it’s valid when he questions if some people do this because it’s who they are or if they do this only because it’s convenient. Overall it’s a great track to put people to think about how society works.
